Lake City Fire Company to Host 3-Day Carnival

As the highly anticipated Lake City Fire Company Carnival prepares to open its gates this Thursday, June 12, community members and volunteers have already dedicated countless hours to ensure the event’s success.
Nearly 100 volunteer hours were logged last Saturday alone, with teams prepping kitchen supplies, readying the carnival grounds, and erecting tents in anticipation of the big weekend.
The behind-the-scenes work continues throughout the week, with volunteers gathering nightly from 6:00 PM and often working late into the evening, sometimes until midnight, handling critical tasks like tent setup and running electrical lines.
The carnival officially opens Thursday, June 12, at 5:00 PM at 2232 Rice Ave, Lake City, PA 16423, and runs through Saturday, June 14.
Each night features a packed lineup of entertainment, food, and fun for all ages:
Thursday, June 12:
•5:00 PM: Carnival opens
•6:00–9:00 PM: DJ Bova on stage
•10:00 PM: Drawing for $500 ($600 if present)
Friday, June 13:
•5:00 PM: Carnival opens
•6:00–9:00 PM: Live music by Joe Thompson
•10:00 PM: Drawing for $500 ($600 if present)
Saturday, June 14:
•1:00 PM: Carnival opens
•1:00–4:00 PM: Crazy Monkey Matinee
•4:00 PM: Lincoln Memorial at the gazebo
•5:00 PM: Carnival parade
•6:00–9:00 PM: Live music by Ray & The County Kind Band
•10:00 PM: Drawing for $5,000 ($6,000 if present)
