We all know someone who has battled the fight against addiction. Recovery is a journey of healing and transformation. The staff of New Direction is dedicated to letting the community know redemption is possible. 

    Their philosophy is that every patient with an opioid addiction deserves the opportunity to take their life in a New Direction. Staff members include certified recovery specialist, which is an individual who has been in recovery and assists others looking to start over. They also have a therapy dog that greets guests and offers comfort to the patients.

 Kara Bennett is a Nurse Practitioner and the Facility's Director she says, "We use medication in conjunction with therapy to treat those that are afflicted with opioid addiction and also other substances such as stimulant abuse."

 This Friday and Saturday the organization is hosting a rummage sale. All proceeds from the sale help with recovery resources and the help their clients obtain basic items like cloths and hygiene products.
