A growing number of teens may have prediabetes which puts them at risk for serious health issues. One in three teens is experiencing higher than normal blood sugar levels. What is even more concerning is that there are no symptoms of a teen is prediabetic. 

 Several factors are contributing to this new issue: obesity, family history and lack of exercise.

Prediabetes is reversible with proper diet; five servings of fruits and vegetables. Also, making sure to exercise 30-60 minutes per day.
