Home Catches Fire After Flames Consume Nearby Car

A fire inspector is expected to be back at the scene of a house fire, Friday. It's a fire that started after a nearby car went up in flames, late Thursday night, by a home on West 19th Street.

The fire went from the vehicle, then burned along a fence and traveled up the side of the house, to the attic. Two adults and two children live inside that home. Everyone there, at the time, got out safely. One neighbor says he tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher and ended up later getting a garden hose, before crews arrived.
