Missing Truck of Crawford County Murder Victim Found

We have new information to report in a Crawford county murder case.
State police have found the truck belonging to 55-year old Gerald Van Dyke.

Police say the 2003 Dodge truck had been dismantled and much of it had been scrapped.
But, identifiable pieces were located on property where other evidence had been recovered last week.

On Wednesday, authorities filed new charges against the suspected killer, 68-year old Richard Houy.
He is now charged with murder, making false reports to police, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse.

Police found what they believe are the remains of Van Dyke in a metal barrel in Crawford county last week.
Authorities are still waiting for DNA results to come back to make a positive identification.
