Edinboro Athletes Grant Wish for 10-year-old Boy

Edinboro University athletes supported Make-A-Wish by granting the wish of a little boy who suffers from Polycystic kidney disease. At half-time of Saturday's Edinboro basketball game, athletes from several university sports teams presented 10-year-old Everson Reynolds of North East with lots of gifts including beach towels and luggage. The items were all hints that they were fulfilling his wish to go to Legoland in sunny California with his family.
Everson, was surprised. "It was kinda cool, I was really nervous because I'd never been in the middle of a basketball court, and getting all this cool stuff, cool experience for me, I kinda liked it," Everson said.
His mother Jennifer said the family is thrilled for Everson to get away from his medical concerns for a little while and have some normal family fun. "He has wanted to go to Legoland since he was three, we feel really blessed that he's able to get his wish fullfilled and go," Jennifer said.
Everson and his family will also enjoy the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld and time at the beach.
