Investigators are working to find out what caused a fire Monday morning, near Jamestown Community College. That fire displaced a handful of students.
Fire officials say the first calls came in around 6:38 a.m.
A fire was reported a multi-apartment facility on James Avenue, across from the college.
Firefighters say heavy smoke could be seen coming from the building when they arrived. Two apartments in the complex reportedly suffered expensive damage.
They say around 8 to 10 students, not from the area, are displaced because of the fire. The American Red Cross has been called in to
help. No injuries have been reported at this time.
They are still working to determine a cause.
