Businessman George Hazuda announced Thursday he will run for Millcreek Township Supervisor as a Republican.

Hazuda said he wants to improve township roads, make sure strong payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreements are in place, end the divisiveness and  ongoing lawsuits in the township, and work with police, fire and emergency to make sure they have the resources they need.

He previously ran as a candidate for Millcreek Supervisor and Government Study Commission in 2015.

Hazuda has lived in Millcreek since 1992.

He has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Gannon University and worked for a company that specializes in security issues, primarily for governments, large corporations and public figures.
