The strong wind gusts will gradually become less frequent and less intense later tonight as we chill down to 30 degrees in Erie. We will remain partly cloudy.

Thursday will be chilly with highs around 38 degrees. After a partly sunny start, some light snow and rain will return to the area late in the day, and this will intensify into a light to moderate accumulation of snow on Thursday evening and Thursday night. A couple of inches may fall near the lakeshore between Thursday evening and Friday, with several inches possible to the south and southeast.

Wind Advisories remain in effect for Warren, McKean, Elk, Cameron and Potter Counties until 1 AM (Thursday).

The Gale Warnings on Lake Erie have ended, and been replaced by Small Craft Advisories.
