As the neighborhood groups who received block grants from the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) determine how to use their money, ECGRA hosted a community forum Wednesday to discuss the program.

A total of 10 neighborhood groups received a total of $485,000, which will be used to finance improvements to homes in those neighborhoods.

The Erie County Renaissance Block Program was modeled after a similar program that's been implemented in Jamestown, N.Y., so its project manager Mary Maxwell was invited Tuesday to speak and give advice.

A total of seven groups received funding in June.
