The group of bikers included members from the Fallen Riders Memorial Fund, the Blue Knights, and the American Legion of Riders.

PennDOT started making repairs on the road earlier this week.

Riders tell us, they liked what they saw, and felt.

They say the improvements will help to make Erie a much safer place for motorcycle travel.

"Most of them are pretty good, but I got to be honest with you, that ramp was horrid.” Road Captain for the American Legion of Riders, Randy Swanson said “And now it's pretty darn nice, I mean they did a pretty good job on it."

"Being on the ramp now, fantastic job.”  Vice President for the Fallen Riders Memorial Fund, Rick Carr said “To me, it's one hundred percent better."

And always, as a reminder to drivers, to be respectful of bikers, and share the road.
