Organizers of this year's ServErie campaign are calling it a huge success.

Volunteers wrapped up with a majority of the work Saturday evening, according to ServErie executive director Marcus Atkinson.

It kicked off Thursday morning at Pfeiffer-Burleigh Elementary School and the Booker T. Washington Center.

Crews helped install a new library at the school and put on a new roof at the community center.

They also performed landscaping work and put on a fresh coat of paint inside both buildings.

Crews are expected to disassemble the supply rooms at both buildings Monday.
