The Kyle T. Rohan Foundation hosted an event at Scott Park Saturday in hopes of enhancing the experience of BMX racing.

Organizers gave out school supplies, including backpacks, lunches from Subway and a scholarship application for writing an essay on how BMX made a positive impact on their lives.

The foundation was established when motor cross racer Kyle Rohan, 29, lost his life in an automobile accident over six years ago.

More information about the racing foundation is available here.
