A far-out festival is making a return this summer to Humane Society of NWPA.

It's the popular event, Woofstock

Woofstock will take place Saturday, August 11th, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Humane Society on Zimmerly Rd.

Admission is $10, and with that you'll get a free hot dog, chips and a bottled water. Woofstock t-shirts are also $10.

Knock Knock and Super Band will provide live music. The kids can enjoy crafts, games and a bouncy house. For the adults, there's beer, "Hippie Juice," raffles and more.

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome, and there will be activities just for them at the dog park.

All the money raised will go toward helping the animals at the Humane Society find forever homes.

This year, Woofstock is held in memory of Jim Lieb, former HSNWPA Board of Directors member, who passed away in December.
