An 11 year old from Ohio is blamed for a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the Chautauqua Mall Tuesday evening, according to police.

The call was made to the Game Stop store around 7:12 p.m. said "a man with a camera was coming to the store and he has a bomb."

Lakewood-Busti Police responded and ordered an evacuation of the mall.

K-9s from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and Lakewood-Busti Police swept the inside and outside of the mall. The Chautauqua County Bomb Squad was also called in to help.

Investigators later learned a juvenile in Ohio allegedly phoned the threat in. The 11 year old reportedly admitted to local police in Ohio that the phone call was a joke.

Lakewood-Busti Police were assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, Ohio State Police and the Tallmadge Police Department in Ohio.

Charges could be filed, according to police.
