Get ready to dance, drink and celebrate all things German at this year's 22nd annual German Heritage Festival.

The event kicks off this Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Nick’s Grove located at 5131 Old French Road.

The festival includes traditional German cuisine including sausages, sauerkraut, and bratwurst. As well as plenty of beer on tap and polka music.

Admission is $5 for adults and children 12 and under get in for free.

The German heritage festival isn't the only heritage fest taking place this weekend.

Here's one that hasn't been around for as long as the other heritage festivals during the summer months, but each year picks up more and more traction.

It's the 6th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival and it's taking over Perry Square this Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.

Hundreds are expecting to attend the day long fest, which features Hispanic food, live music and children's activities.

The Erie Latino Leadership Association organizes the festival each year.

Admission to the festival is free.
