The German heritage festival isn't the only heritage fest taking place this weekend.
Here's one that hasn't been around for as long as the other heritage festivals during the summer months, but each year picks up more and more traction.
It's the 6th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival and it's taking over Perry Square this Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.
Hundreds are expecting to attend the day long fest, which features Hispanic food, live music and children's activities.
The Erie Latino Leadership Association organizes the festival each year.
