Pennsylvania State Police say they investigated over one thousand vehicle crashes over the Thanksgiving weekend.

That's considered to be November 21 through November 25.

According to troopers, there were 1,116 crashes during that five-day period. That's 135 more than last year,

Of those crashes, 80 were alcohol related, 213 people were hurt, and four people were killed.
