First Day of Presque Isle Hunt Ends with a Bang
The first day of the three day Presque Isle hunt is over.
Forty-five hunters came out to take a shot at balancing the deer population at the state park.
Two doe were taken home by hunters, Wednesday, after the hunt. It will continue on Thursday and Friday.
Eighty-five hunters are allowed to hunt bother buck and doe over the next two days. Shotguns, muzzle loaders, or archery weapons are permitted with some restrictions.
All hunters had to fill out an application to be allowed to participate.
