The Erie Innovation District is moving to Velocity Network's headquarters at 121 W. 10th St.

VNET is one of the founding members of the Erie Innovation District, led by Mercyhurst University, which hopes the move will continue to transform Erie into a more technologically advanced city.

"Working side by side in a dynamic, high-tech environment like Velocity Network's new headquarters will create great synergy for both of us," EID President and CEO Karl Sanchack said.

Five of the nine companies in EID's Secure Erie Accelerator are also housed in the VNET building. Velocity Network CEO Joel Deuterman is excited about the opportunity to share space with Sanchack and his EID collaborators.

"I've said it before and I stand by it, Karl is a man of execution," Deuterman said. "That fact that he'll be under my roof is very powerful to me."

According to Deuterman, the EID will have full access to the common areas on the first floor and private spaces on the second and third floors.

"Being co-located only strengthens a relationship that has been strikingly successful since day one," Sanchack said.
