Police Arrest Man Following Standoff in Albion
An Albion man is charged with making terroristic threats following a standoff with police.
If first started around 11 p.m. Monday at a home along North Main Street, in Albion Borough, Erie County.
State Police say they were notified of a suicidal male who was threatening "suicide by cop."
According to police reports, Justin Wells, 28, was armed when Troopers arrived. He barricaded himself inside the home, and negotiated with police over the next five hours.
Around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday he left the home and surrendered peacefully. Police then seized two hand guns from the residence.
He is now charged with terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
