An investigation is underway to try and figure out what caused a car to go up in flames inside an east Erie car dealership.

The fire started shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday inside Babylon Auto Sales & Services along East Ave and East 26th streets.

Crews at the scene say a car caught on fire inside that dealership's garage.

They managed to get that fire put out quickly, but the building did suffer some smoke damage.

No one was hurt.

A fire investigator will now try and figure out exactly started that fire.
