Isaac Petkac joined Erie News Now in April 2020 and is ready to shine light on all the positivity in Erie.

He is a native of the area, growing up in Edinboro, PA and graduating from General McLane High School. After his time at home, he traveled to the University of Toledo with aspirations of becoming a sportscaster and journalist. One year in, he started reporting for his college television station and was named the news and sports producer three months later.

Isaac enjoyed his time at UT, but when he heard of an opportunity in Erie, he couldn't pass up the chance to share stories happening near home.

While he isn't reporting, Isaac enjoys announcing local sporting events as a play by play broadcaster, and plays tennis on a regular basis. He bleeds the black and gold of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers, and you can occasionally catch him singing in choirs or different shows.

If you have a story you want to share, email him and he will be in touch.
