Erie Fire Fighters Respond to Vacant House Fire
Erie fire fighters respond to a house fire Wednesday evening in the city of Erie.
It happened around 10:00 at a vacant home along east 25th street, near Wallace.
Several fire crews in the city of Erie responded, and it turned into a smokey scene after Erie fire fighters got there and quickly knocked down the fire outside.
Once inside, fire fighters discovered part of the attic was in flames, they had it under control in just over an hour.
Fire fighters say the home is vacant and was empty at the time.
Because of the close proximity to the neighboring home, fire fighters safely got the next door homeowners out, nobody was hurt.
