Local police officers had a chance to connect with the community this week.

The City of Warren Police and the Sheriff’s Office hosted Coffee with a Cop in downtown Warren.

At the event officers interacted with residents and talked about the upcoming bike rodeo they are hosting with the Lions Club of Warren.

“On May 4th the Lions Club of Warren is going to be hosting a bike rodeo in downtown Warren," stated Jeff Dougherty, Warren Police Captain. "It will be on Liberty Street between Second Avenue and Third Avenue, we shut down the street and have the kids come and we do different events. Our bike officers will be there too.”

“It’s so much fun to interact with the community," stated Gary Doolittle, City of Warren Patrolman. "We definitely look forward to it and hope for a good turnout.”

The next Coffee and a Cop Event in Warren County is slated for May 15th at 9:00AM at White Cane Coffee, located at 28 Market Street in Warren, PA.
