Despite initial concerns about voter turnout, people throughout Warren County steadily attended the primary election.

Many residents took advantage of the sunshine to head out to polling sites on April 23rd to cast their vote for the primary.

Erie News Now spoke with representatives from both sides of the aisle for their impressions of the day.

“There’s been a steady flow of citizens coming in to vote," stated Kathy Rapp, Pennsylvania State Representative for the 65th District. "I was at another precinct earlier and there was a steady stream of people. It is good to see people come out and vote, it's important.”

“People are very excited and happy to get out here and do their civic duty," stated Brianna Powers, Precinct Representative for the Warren County Democrats. "It makes me happy to see them as a precinct representative for our county Democratic committee."
