The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that REAL-ID compliant driver's licenses and photos IDs are available to Pennsylvanians who want them. 

Starting May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL-ID, or another form of accepted ID like a passport or military ID, to fly domestically. 

The REAL-ID or another form of accepted ID will also be needed to enter federal buildings and military bases that require ID.
