Doug Massey has been appointed the new Director of Economic Development, succeeding former Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott who has transitioned to the role of Director of Administration. 

Representatives from Erie County said Massey brings a wealth of experience in economic development and leadership to the position. 

Massey also has over 20 years of dedicated service to Erie County. 

"Doug Massey's appointment as the Director of Economic Development marks an exciting chapter for Erie County," stated County Executive Brenton Davis. "His extensive experience, coupled with his dedication to our community's growth, makes him a valuable asset in our efforts to promote economic development and enhance the quality of life in Erie County."

Throughout his career, Massey has earned a reputation as a respected and dedicated professional, known for his collaborative approach and innovative strategies.
