An Ithaca, New York, man pleaded guilty to charges for driving to Erie to meet up with a 10-year-old girl for sex, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Noah Fisch-Lewis, 33, on Wednesday entered the plea to federal charges of violating federal laws relating to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Fisch-Lewis communicated with an undercover agent posing as the mother of a 10-year-old girl from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8, 2022, according to information presented to the court. During this period, he repeatedly expressed in very graphic terms his desire to engage in sex with the minor, investigators said.

Fisch-Lewis drove from upstate New York to Erie for the purpose of having sex with the 10 year old and was taken into custody upon his arrival at the agreed meeting place, according to the court.

He is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 1 for sentencing.

Fisch-Lewis faces a maximum sentence of not less than 10 years and up to life in prison, a fine of up to $500,000, or both.
