Asbury Woods is gearing up for the return of its annual Maple Festival. The festival is a celebration of a heritage unique to the region.

Sugar maple trees are a natural resource only found in this region of the world. Asbury Woods taps the trees and collects and boils the sap into pure maple syrup every year.

The event will feature live informational and interactive tours and demonstrations. Guests can also enjoy samples from local vendors that will be showcasing all kinds of maple products.

This year's Maple Festival will be held on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets to the event are $6.
