Erie's Warriors to Washington spent part of their day at the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial on Sunday.

For many of these veterans, the visit was deeply personal, a chance to reflect on sacrifice, service, and the lives lost that day. Surrounded by the quiet, powerful design of the Memorial, they paused to remember and honor those who never came home. An emotional stop on their journey of healing and connection.

Greg Henning, a Warrior to Washington said, "It really changed everyone's world that day, it really rattled your soul.  How did it change you?  Oh wow, high school teacher, first week of school, 911.  Short time after that, I got the letter in the mail, being mobilized, I spent two years in Baghdad in between deployment, so."
