Erie Gives 2025 Hits a Grand Slam
Erie Gives 2025 hit a grand slam, raising over $11.3 million for 539 local nonprofits.
The Erie Community Foundation team and representatives of those nonprofits gathered at UPMC Park Monday to celebrate.
The results this year increased by 17% with nearly $1.6 million more contributed than in 2024.
The bonus bucks from community partners and the fact that all processing fees were covered this year mean all non-profits will enjoy more than a 3% boost in their totals.
“Many of the non-profits that participated raised more money than last year; we had more givers than last year, but I myself was very surprised,” Karen Bilowith, President and CEO of Erie Community Foundation, said.
“And what it has morphed into in the past 15 years is incredible, it's inspiring, it's one of my favorite days of the year," Erin Fessler, the foundation’s vice president of marketing and community relations, said.
Since 2011, Erie Gives has raised more than $77.7 million to strengthen non-profits.
