Russell, PA – A small community church in Russell became the target of vandalism this past week.

Pennsylvania State Police reported that the Gouldtown Community Church in Pinegrove Township had an inappropriate phrase spray-painted on the side of the building.
 
The paint was quickly removed, but the investigation remains ongoing. Incidents like this are rare in the area and have left local residents feeling upset.
 
Pennsylvania State Police Sergeant Kyle Callahan said, “We are actively investigating this incident and encourage anyone with information to come forward. Warren County is usually very quiet, whenever something like this happens, it makes a lot of people upset and angry. Vandalism is not tolerated, and community tips are important in solving these cases.”
