The inaugural Community Country Day School Gala benefit brought out big support Saturday night at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center.  Bonnell's Auto Glass organized the event to help the school get back on its feet financially. Four time super bowl champion Rocky Bleier was keynote speaker for the event.

The school offers an alternative for less fortunate kids having trouble in traditional school. Scott Bonnell, host for the evening said, "I just believe in what the school does, how they treat the kids, how they teach the kids, they love those kids and I just knew what I needed to do."

Aaron Collins, the school's executive director said, "This is going to help us have supplies and materials, the amount of staff and faculty to provide an education for the kids that they deserve to have given to them."  Collins said the community has helped to raise $220-thousand for the school since November.
