Bikers Hurt In Accidents This Busy Roar On The Shore Weekend

The Roar on the Shore motorcycle rally has brought thousands of motorcyclists to Erie.
And Friday night, a couple of accidents to report involving motorcycles.
The latest one happening around 9:30 Friday night at Peach and Miller.
Two bikes and a car were involved.
Police say the bikers were riding south on Peach, when the car hit one of the bikes while it was turning onto Miller.
The other motorcycle then slid into the car.
Emergency crews rushed 4 people that were on the bikes to the hospital, with moderate injuries.
And, two people are hospitalized after a motorcycle accident in Harborcreek.
It happened around 8:30 Friday night in front of the Wal-Mart on Buffalo road.
According to reports from the scene, a car turned in front of a motorcycle.
A man and woman, who were on the bike, were transported to the hospital.
Both had head injuries, but were conscious at the time of their transport.
The driver of the car wasn't hurt.
Police are investigating.
In the meantime, police are asking drivers to be extra alert on the roads for motorcycles, especially during this 3 day rally event.
It's been a very busy night for emergency medical crews.
