Police Raid Nets Drugs, Guns and Cash in Erie

An early morning drug raid in the city of Erie netted heroin, stolen handguns and thousands of dollars in cash.
Around 7:30 a.m. members of the Erie Police Vice and Drug Unit raided a home at 1136 East 27th Street.
Officers seized 250 grams of heroin, a small amount of marijuana, two stolen guns and more than $5,000 in cash.
Two 24-year-old men, Kwashawn Rashad Ellis and Reo Benjamin Adkins, were taken in to custody on multiple drug and firearm charges.
This raid was the result of a year-long investigation.
