Interstate 90 in Western Erie County Reopens After Multiple Vehicle Crash
As of 8:43 Friday morning, Interstate 90 westbound in Erie County is now back open following Thursday's chain-reaction crash.
As of 8:43 Friday morning, Interstate 90 westbound in Erie County is now back open from Exit 16 (Route 98, Franklin Center/Fairview) to Exit 9 (Route 18, Platea/Girard) following Thursday's chain-reaction crash.
The chain reaction accident was reported around 12:45 p.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of the interstate on the Elk Creek Bridge between the Fairview and Girard exits.
Several people were taken to Erie hospitals with injuries.

Pennsylvania State Police remind drivers to be careful and take it slow on the roads.
Also, the speed limit has been restored on I-90 in Erie County and I-79 in Erie County and northern Crawford County.
