Magee-Womens UPMC Hamot Showcases Medical Services for Women
Magee-Womens UPMC Hamot hosted an open house Saturday.
With tours, health screenings and fun activities, UPMC Hamot showed how it has moved medical services for women all under one roof.
Visitors toured the brand new office for expectant moms and got to meet and greet their OB/GYN health care team.
You could also learn about specialty care options for everything from fertility and maternal-fetal medicine to urogynecology and gynecologic oncology.
There's also a women's recovery center for women battling substance abuse.
Magee-Womens UPMC Hamot said it's all about making health care convenient for area women.
"We felt that bringing things in one location - one central location - so that women of all ages whatever they need for their care can be located in that one place, making it very convenient and for efficiency, but just really we have a beautiful facility here, one stop shop for them," said Aimee Hagerty, clinical director.
Visitors enjoyed refreshments and shopping. The first 300 people through the door received gifts.
