Several polling place changes in Erie County will be in effect for the 2018 Primary Election on Tuesday, May 15.

  1. Erie Second Ward, 4th District will vote at East High School; 1001 Atkins Street, due to the closing of Wayne School. Enter from the east parking lot. Look for signs directing you to the proper line; there are two precincts in the school.
  2. Elgin Borough will vote at the Beaver Dam Elgin Fire Department 17920 North Main Street. The move was made to upgrade the voter experience with better facilities and space. Previous location was the Town Hall building.
  3. Wesleyville Borough First District will vote at the Wesleyville Baptist Church, 3509 Buffalo Road, which is across the street from the Borough Building (the previous location). The move was made to upgrade the voter experience; provide more space and parking.
  4. Fairview District 1 will vote at Fairview Presbyterian Church 4264 Avonia Road. The move was made from the Fire Hall Number 2 on Westlake road to upgrade the voter experience.

Signs will be posted at all of the old locations to direct voters to the new locations. Voters in all affected areas were notified by postcard of the polling place changes.
