Police have arrested a Meadville man for providing the drugs that police said caused a deadly overdose.

Timothy E. Laver, 32, was arraigned on charges of drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.

He was arrested Tuesday at the same residence in the 1170 block of South Main St. where police said they were called to a drug overdose Aug. 2.

Officers said they found Jennifer Nagy unconscious in the residence. She was evaluated by emergency medical personnel but later pronounced dead by the Crawford County Coroner.

Laver is behind bars in the Crawford County Prison on $250,000 bond.
