Uncomfortable Conversations Continue at Edinboro University, This Time with Bishop Lawrence Persico
Edinboro University has another it its series of Uncomfortable Conversations coming up this week.
This conversation is called "A Church in Crisis: A Local Diocese's Response."
Bishop Lawrence Persico, leader of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie since 2012 will be interviewed by Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reporter Debra Erdley in a forum on Tuesday, December 4.
The forum is open to the Edinboro University campus community as well as the general public.
Bishop Persico has made headlines around the state, nation and globe for his open and proactive decisions regarding the Pennsyslvania Grand Jury investigation and report on child sexual abuse by Roman Catholic Priests.
Erdley has provided extensive coverage of the Pennsylvania Grand Jury report and also covered the Penn State and Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
The Uncomfortable Conversation will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the multipurpose room at Pogue Student Center, Edinboro University.
