Deadline Approaches in Sonya Arrington Wire Fraud Case
Erie City Councilwoman Sonya Arrington's lawyer has until Feb. 1 to file any pretrial motions.
In April 2018, Arrington was indicted on nearly three dozen counts of wire fraud.
Federal agents accuse her of diverting $70,000 from the non-profit she founded, Mothers Against Teen Violence.
Federal warrants said Arrington admitted to taking the money to cover gambling losses.
Arrington is still serving on City Council as her case plays out in court.
