While many college students are traveling to warmer weather for their spring break, a group of students decided to spend their time off school in Erie.

Students from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin are taking part in a service trip instead of hitting the beach.

This group is partnered through Erie's L'Arche program.

L'Arche is a group that helps adults with and without intellectual disabilities live a full life.

The visiting students get to live and interact with the members.

The students goal is to form relationships with the adults and reflect upon issues of social justice.

Throughout the week, the students will visit L'Arche homes that are in Erie.

They will be working on any special projects that need completed and just simply play games with some of the residents.

Marquette students say the focus is really on forming relationships.
