The wrecking ball has taken action on a longtime building in Erie. The former EMTA bus garage and administration building is being turned into rubble.

It's the last, key part of the major expansion project for the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority. That area at 14th and French Streets, will later be the site of a city parking garage.
The new maintenance and bus storage facility is located on the corner of West 14th and Parade Streets.

The demolition this week, comes ahead of some bus changes this weekend, that take effect on Saturday. We have a link to all the changes the website for E.
