A Harborcreek Township company has expanded with help from the Erie County Redevelopment Authority.

Plastic Services Network (PSN) has launched a $978,000 expansion project.

The company was able to buy the building it had been leasing with the help of the Redevelopment Authority's revolving loan fund.

The expansion includes keeping existing employees and a promise to hire eight more over the next three years.

This most recent expansion highlights the growth of locally supported businesses.

"We have quadrupled in size over the last four years," said Michael Alabran, president of Plastic Services Network. "Seven employees in 2015, 19 employees today."

PSN is an engineering firm that specializes in design and manufacturing.

The Redevelopment Authority supports both established and startup businesses.
