The death of a 33-year-old Erie man at a private residence in Freehold Township in Warren County is under investigation.

The probe involves the Pennsylvania State Police Troop E Major Case Team, the Warren County Coroner's office and the Warren County District Attorney.

Just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday, police in Corry were called to a home on Sutton Road in Freehold Township for a report of a male who was out of control.

When state police arrived on the scene, the person was deceased.

The investigation aims to determine the cause and nature of the man's death.

So far investigators have not released the victim's name or said if there may have been foul play.
