Nighttime lane restrictions and rolling closures will start Monday night on Interstate 90 from the Ohio state line to mile marker 3.5 in Springfield Township to remove an overpass.

The restrictions and closures will affect both the eastbound and westbound lanes daily from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting the night of May 13 and ending the morning of May 17.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area, and the work is expected to cause significant traffic delays.

The temporary restrictions and closures are needed to remove the Huntley Road Bridge, which spans above Interstate 90.

The bridge is already closed. A detour using Route 20, 6N and Underridge Rd. has been posted.
