Now that the Roar on the Shore Motorcycle Rally is moving out of the city of Erie, there have been a lot of questions regarding the popular Bringing in the Roar Parade.

For the past 12 years, the parade has started at Presque Isle Downs and Casino, then thousands of motorcyclists traveled the seven mile route to the hub in downtown Erie's Perry Square.

It attracted a lot of spectators along that route.

We've learned because event organizers did not want to pay for half of the city services this year, they were not granted permits for the event, which includes the parade.

According to the Roar on the Shore website, organizers are currently looking into a different route from Presque Isle Downs to The Lake Erie Speedway where the 13th annual rally will be held from July 17th to the 21st.
