The new broadcast antennas for WICU and WSEE were lifted by a helicopter and mounted on the tower Thursday afternoon.

Chief engineer Mike Kobylka said what took the help of the helicopter about 3 hours to do would have taken workers a few weeks without its help.

Our engineers will be working to connect the new antennas to our transmitters, so we can start using them to broadcast at the end of May/early June.

Most viewers who watch over-the-air will see an improved signal at that time.

We'll keep you posted on the progress.
