The Erie County HIV Task Force is testing out a new campaign to mitigate the spread of HIV and STD's in the area. In an attempt to raise awareness of free services offered and to raise the use of those services, the task force has launched a bus stop advertising campaign.

Signs have been put up at various bus stops around the city and on some of the EMTA busses as well. The signs advocate three main points: where to get free condoms, what the PrEP pill is and where to find free HIV/STD testing.

The signs emphasize a link specifically created to share the details on where to find those resources in Erie County. This is an expansion of the billboard campaign the Task Force introduced last fall.

The Task Force started putting up the signs in April, but announced the campaign with pictures in a Facebook post Monday.
