Unfortunately, this week is looking pretty unsettled! Just about everyday has at least a small chance of a few showers or thunderstorms in the forecast.  Temperatures should stay in the middle 70's throughout much of the week, so that's certainly the good news! Let's get started.

The reason why each day this week has a chance of showers and thunderstorms is because of a stationary front parked just south of our area.  A stationary front is that red and blue line draped across central PA in the image below, and it constantly sparks the atmosphere for showers and thunderstorms.

If you're looking to be outside this week, Wednesday will be the best day! We're expecting a break in the rain for most of the day, and most of the afternoon should be sunny! But steadier, heavier rain will arrive once again on Thursday and last into the weekend.  Right now, next weekend is looking pretty wet and soggy, but of course, that's a whole week away!  We have plenty of time and we'll certainly be watching the forecast!
